Getting Unstuck: Reassessing what you have and how you

Challenge: A $4B retailer has been working to
address a persistent employee development issue for over ten
years. Despite the conceptual buy-in and good intentions of the
leadership team, fragmented efforts and inconsistent
follow-through had produced less than satisfying results. Their
standing in the community, and with their employees, was
impacted.
Strategy: COMPIO partnered with the senior
leadership team and a cross section of representative employees
in a creative problem solving process.

Outcomes: More powerful leverage points were
identified, a wider range of potential solutions were generated
and several well-considered and complimentary strategies were
selected and refined. Careful consideration was given to how to
engage key stakeholders, now and in the future. Action plans
included strategies to test and communicate the impact of "soft"
initiatives on business outcomes as they implement their
solutions and act on lessons learned.
