Challenge: An information technologies leader
wants to help his management team develop a better understanding
of each others' strengths and styles, in order to build personal
and team effectiveness and improve customer relationships.
Strategy: COMPIO partnered with him to
provide practical, work-focused learning experiences that enabled
each leader, and the team as a whole, to identify key strengths,
key challenges, and implications of the new leader's style.

Outcomes: The new leader and his team
translated these insights into an action plan for quick,
sustainable progress in meeting customer needs. They created a
common framework they use to act on what they learn as they
continue to find ways to apply and build upon the results of this
work. An unanticipated new challenge faces this leader - managers
from other departments are requesting transfers to his team!
